WEEK 15 (Silence in the Wings)

This week in Kristen's session i was really looking forward to taking part in activities with the group again. We played a game of virtual guess who and this got the group talking, i felt really comfortable and confident this week. We then played a new game which i really enjoyed, as a group we had to act out different sounds to create an overall scenario such as a birthday party, jungle, school and someone in the group had to guess what we were acting out. I think the group was really good at this game because we all cooperated and worked together. I really enjoyed this weeks session and I'm excited to see what next weeks session will consist of.

During the last session of the week, my group and i discussed our set design for Silence in the Wings. I started off and shared my design to the group and they all gave me useful feedback. They liked the simplicity and split stage. The others also shared their designs and there were some really good ideas, for example, using lighting to create a split stage, a road street sign, an outdoor bench, using crates for indoor kitchen counters. Ava wrote down all the ideas that people liked and i was asked to draw up the final set design.

I enjoyed creating the final set design, i combined all of the good ideas from our separate designs and i really liked how the final design turned out.
